This lake is over 150 years old. In
2001 it was de-silted and opened as a commercial fishing lake. It
covers some 2 acres.
It has 54 pegs and most
pegs have a feature to fish against.
Stock
fish are Roach, Rudd, Perch, Tench, Crucians, Chub, Gudgeon, Skimmers,
Eels, Carp and Trout.
Both lakes are fed by the
Holywell Brook which means that the water quality is good and the fish
are very healthy.
